Riding With Mike W.

The Empire State Winter games are this weekend.
Mike, despite not being a big snowshoe devotee, volunteered to chauffer Eileen, myself and Jan to the games for the weekend. Jan and I had to give up our first born child to get Mike to go, so sorry, Andrea, you get to live with the Weinpress's. But, they just love animals, so bring the five dogs, horses, cats and assorted other four legged creatures with you. You will have to negotiate about Renee.
Eileen qualified for the 100m, 200m, 400m and 5k races. Jan and I, not being blessed with any fast-twitch sprinting muscles, decided not to attempt the short races this year. Two years of being embarrassed is enough. We are running the 1500m race on Saturday, then joining Eileen in the 5k on Sunday.

A liftetime with me for one weekend of chauffering at a race? And I'm sure your help won't be delivered with a smile, just grunting and complaints. It's not to late to change your mind....At least you found me a good home that is willing to accept my four-legged friends. Weinpress's, you may want to consider keeping Renee. She does most of the work picking up after the furry ones! You can even train her to pick up after yours!
ReplyDeleteI was just trying to be funny. I wouldn't really give you up.
ReplyDeleteGreat, we fixed up the guest room and even told Charlie (our little dachshound to expect company. Andrea and Renee are both welcome as long as I don't have to move a piano. Mike W.
ReplyDeleteThe piano goes with Stacy, somewhere in the U.S., we think. Andrea's dogs would love Charlie, they would throw him and play catch like he is a rag doll.
